Bob joined the Leavitt Group in 2008 as a key producer for Farmer- Leavitt Insurance Agency. His primary responsibilities as a Producer are client acquisition and retention, directing his focus is on helping clients identify their specific needs and marketing those risks that are transferable to the appropriate insurance markets. Bob started his insurance career in 1987 as a producer after graduating from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors degree in accounting. Bob dedicated the first 17 years to a single agency and their client base despite several mergers and acquisitions. In 2008, Bob decided his clients deserved more personal service and those needs out grew the servicing capabilities of his then employer. He has done extensive research of the agency models available for his clients and came to the well thought conclusion that the Leavitt Group would fit those needs best. He strongly feels that this career move will be the last in his illustrious career. As an insurance professional, Bob believes that being involved with local and national organizations adds career enhancing richness to his already extensive knowledge base. Bob was named as the associate of the year for the Arizona Tooling and Machining Association in 2007. Bob is also currently an associate member of PRIMA. Bob has been a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 1993 and keeps his designation current by attending the highest level Ruble classes available. Bob enjoys a diverse mix of personal activities and is an active member of East Valley Bible Church. He resides in a picturesque rural community outside of the Phoenix City limits. His wife maintains 3 horses, 4 dogs and 2 cats, keeping them extremely happy. In his spare time, he also enjoys reading, horseback riding, kayaking all while keeping his grandchildren entertained.
