Walter joined Farmer-Leavitt Insurance Group in September 2004, following several years with Acordia Insurance, the 5th Ranked National Broker in the United States in their Commercial Lines Department. Walt is a seasoned professional with over 30 years in both insurance companies and brokerage capacities, having worked as an underwriter with major insurance carriers where he specialized in both Property and Casualty insurance coverages. Later as an insurance broker, he gained a solid background in the sales and servicing of Commercial Insurance programs. As an experienced Broker and Risk Manager, Walter currently provides insurance consulting and risk management services to a wide variety of businesses including construction, non-profits, transportation, municipal/tribal, hospitality, wholesalers and manufacturing.
